What Not To Do On Your Wedding Day?

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and understandably, you want it to be perfect. Don’t be Fashionably Late

Ask any seasoned wedding guest, and they will tell you that it is rare for a bride to be on time. However, being fashionably late can actually cause undue panic and stress to both the bride and the groom. Not only can tardiness ruin the timing of the ceremony and other wedding events but it can also fray nerves, leaving people feeling stressed and unhappy. Make sure you schedule plenty of time to prepare yourself, arrive at the ceremony location well in advance, and avoid that fashionably late entrance that can turn your big day into a stressful one.

Avoid Being a Control Freak

It is understandable that you want everything to be perfect on your wedding day. However, you cannot be in control of every small detail. Trying to be a control freak will only stress you out and your guests, as there is bound to be something that doesn’t go according to plan. Moreover, letting small things go means that you can enjoy the big picture and stop sweating the small stuff.

Don’t Forget to Eat and Stay Hydrated

If you’re like many brides, you may find that you’re too busy to eat much on your wedding day. However, skipping meals, and not drinking enough water can result in feeling cranky, lightheaded, or even fainting. Ensure that you snack and keep hydrated throughout the day so that you feel your best and ready to enjoy all of your planned events.

Don’t Get into Arguments with Family Members

Family dynamics can be challenging to navigate on a normal day, let alone on your wedding day. Remember, your wedding is about bringing people together, not watching them fall apart. If a conflict arises, try to take a step back, take a few deep breaths, and then come back and address the issue calmly and politely. It’s vital that on your big day, you focus on the love you have for your partner and the joy you share with your loved ones.

“You will find that most times you have a vision of what it is that you want to accomplish and that’s most important. It allows you to work backwards and make cuts and changes that will still reflect the overall outcome you wish to achieve. What good is splurging on one particular item if it doesn’t result in the overall outcome you were trying to create?
